This year's Angel House Bachelor Auction will be the best ever, filled with excitement, prizes, and fun. The Annual Bachelor Auction to benefit Angel House will take place in the Cadillac Club DeVille Room, on Saturday, September 15th. The event will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30 pm. The Bachelors will arrive via limousine at 7pm. Sheri Jones News Anchor with WLNS TV 6, and Danny Stewart, morning Radio Host on Citadel's 99.1 WFMK, will host the event. The 12 eligible and brave bachelors will take the stage, one by one, and be auctioned off to the highest bidding gal. The women are buying a date package that goes along with the bachelor, all date features are provided by area business and eateries. Their winning bid is a contribution to Angel House. The dates will be great fun, all of the packages are exciting and dynamic!
This year there is a new twist!….A Limited Edition Raffle, Sponsored by Hair and Body Elements AND Protégé Academy…Only 1,000 raffle tickets will be sold at $20 each. The Prize is Hawaii! 7 days airfare for 2 to the Big Island, lodging, rental car, $1,000 of Activities like horseback riding, snorkeling and whale cruising! A week of tropical splendor and adventure!! The proceeds from this raffle will benefit Angel House. Raffle Tickets are now on sale at the Cadillac Club, Angel House, and Hair and Body Elements, with the goal of selling them before the Sept 15th Auction Event. Becky Beauchine Kulka is offering a beautiful diamond surprise for the 2nd prize.
The Bachelor Auction will also feature a Silent Auction with awesome items. ….This year's theme is TROPICAL/HAWAIIAN! The appetizers included will be of a tropical theme, and participants should dress in their tropical, colorful best! There is a rumor that Danny Stewart may don coconuts and a grass skirt! This will be an event to see! AND It's all for a great cause! Angel House!
Angel House, a division of Child & Family Services, is a shelter and child assessment center (CAC) for children who are in crisis and have been removed from their home for safety reasons. The CAC provides a child friendly environment and state of the art facility to conduct forensic interviews. Angel House staff, prosecutors, police and protective services workers come together for these interviews so the children will not have to be interviewed more than once. Located in Mason, Angel house serves Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Gratiot Jackson Shiawassee and Genessee Counties.
